Application Procedure
Students can enter the program at any level, although Grades 7-9 are most typical.
The application process for the Inter-A program begins with a day
long visit, usually in January or February for students wishing to
join the following September. After the visit, interested students
will complete an application form and will be asked to return for a
meeting with the Inter-A Teaching Team.
During the visit, the student will be asked to complete a reading comprehension exercise, and a short math assessment. Students with a diverse range of interests, talents and skills are welcome in the program. Interested students are asked to call 604-587-7373 or 604-588-6934 to book a visit.
Applications are based on a first-come, first-served basis.
A few presentations are made throughout the year in which the teaching team and students talk about the program and answer questions. Interested students and their parents/guardians are encouraged to come see one. These information meetings are typically held between November and April, and the dates are posted on this website.
